The first intelligent alien race, called the Hectopods, was discovered by humanity on the planet Esperer of the Kepler-113 system. These creatures, similar to octopuses, but with only six limbs, live in freshwater lakes, next to geothermal springs. Initially, biologists weren't sure if they had confirmed this fact. Hectopods build their own homes in the aquatic environment, use tools, mine for minerals, and even speak a complete language. However, it is obvious that hectonodes in their development practically did not go beyond the Bronze Age. People with curiosity and kindness, but approaching their settlements are not allowed.
